Expression of domdsRNA.Sym.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4bbg-C96 results in an incompletely penetrant phenotype of one or more nicks on the anterior wing margin, and increased cell death is observed in the wing disc, in a portion of the dorsal-ventral wing margin.

Expression of domdsRNA.Sym.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4vg.PU results in wing nicking.

Expression of domdsRNA.Sym.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc.PU results in loss of the anterior crossvein, loss of head bristles and fusion of ocelli.

Expression of domdsRNA.Sym.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 results in incomplete notum fusion.

Expression of domdsRNA.Sym.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 results in loss of distal leg segments.

Expression of one copy of domdsRNA.Sym.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4bbg-C96 results in mild defects in the wing margin, mostly along the anterior margin. 57% of these flies show wing nicking.
