Evoked excitatory junction potentials at the neuromuscular junctions of Atg1Scer\UAS.cWa; Scer\GAL4elav.PLu larvae are significantly decreased compared to wild-type.
Atg1UAS.cTa, Scer\GAL4bbg-C96 is an enhancer of visible phenotype of Scer\GAL4bbg-C96, domRNAi.Sym.UAS
Atg1UAS.cTa, Scer\GAL4bbg-C96 is an enhancer of wing margin phenotype of Scer\GAL4bbg-C96, domRNAi.Sym.UAS
The wing nicking phenotype caused by expression of domdsRNA.Sym.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4bbg-C96 is enhanced if the flies are also co-expressing Atg1Scer\UAS.cTa.
Atg1UAS.cTa partially rescues Atg125
Atg1UAS.cTa/Scer\GAL4elav.PLu partially rescues Atg13
Atg1UAS.cTa/Scer\GAL4G7 fails to rescue Atg13
Atg1Scer\UAS.cWa; Scer\GAL4elav.PLu rescues the structural phenotypes seen in the neuromuscular junctions (NMJ) of Atg13 homozygous larvae: NMJ size, puncta density and apposition of pre and post-synaptic components are all restored. However, neurophysiological defects in these NMJs are not rescued. Neither neurophysiological nor structural defects in these NMJs are rescued when a post-synaptic driver, Scer\GAL4G7, is used in place of Atg1Scer\UAS.cWa.
The axonal transport defect seen in Atg13/Atg125 larvae is rescued by expression of Atg1Scer\UAS.cTa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155.
