Clonal expression of scScer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4Act.PU in the adult midgut results in a significant increase in the enteroendocrine cells within the clones, as compared to control clones.

Expression of scScer\UAS.cPa under the control of Scer\GAL4tub.PU in clones in the wing disc induces the formation of sensory organ precursor cells in some cases.

The mis-expression of scScer\UAS.cPa in the wing imaginal disc by means of Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 leads to the generation of supernumerary sensory organ precursors (SOPs) along the anterior-posterior boundary.
