Description

Remobilizaton of the isogenized P{XP}Frld06832 progenitor (after recombining away a second site lethal). The resulting deletion retains some scrambled P-element sequences (including some UAS sequences) at the original 5' P end in intron 1 of Frl, but deletes the Frl start codon. The upstream breakpoint is in Hsc70Cb and deletes a total of 21.4 kb.

FrlEx83/FrlEx83 clones (in a Minute background) have weak ommatidial rotation defects (planar cell polarity-like defects) in the adult eye. 14% of FrlEx83/FrlEx83 mutant mushroom body clones show premature axon growth arrest (but not bifurcation/guidance defects).
