TER9426-8 is reported as a missense mutation that converts amino acid 450, glutamic acid, to alanine (IDAEV to IDAAV in the first ATPase motif. However this sequence of amino acids maps to 434 to 438 in the sequence (GB:AF202034) placing the mutation at amino acid 437.
Contrary to expection, TER9426-8 does not suppress polyQ-induced neurodegeneration by inhibiting polyQ aggregation.
