Detailed Description

ebiP7/ebiE90 escaper flies are more sensitive to paraquat treatment than controls.

No or very few ebiE90 clones survive to late third instar stage when induced at 48 hours after egg deposition (AED), and survival is not improved by inducing clones in a Minute/+ background. Clones induced at 72 hours AED do survive, but are very small.

ebiP7/ebiE90 flies are viable and show phenotypes similar to weak loss of function Egfr alleles including partial female sterility resulting from partially ventralized eggs, wing vein defects, short bristles and rough eyes.

Heterozygosity for ebiE90 enhances the small wing phenotype induced by Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096-mediated expression of Pi3K92ED954A.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC.

Heterozygosity for ebiE90 enhances the small wing and wing vein loss phenotypes induced by Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096-mediated expression of aosScer\UAS.cMa.

Heterozygosity for ebiE90 enhances the notched wing margin phenotype seen in sdETX4 hemizygous males.

In sev6 hemizygotes that are also heterozygous for SosJC2, 14.7% of ommatidia contain R7 cells. This phenotype is dominantly enhanced by ebiE90.
