Expression of armScer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4nub.PU does not have a wing margin bristle phenotype in adult flies.

Expression of armScer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4en.PU results in ectopic bristles on the wing margin.

When armScer\UAS.cWa is driven by Scer\GAL4en-e16E ectopic wing margin bristles are see in the wing blade.

Expression of armScer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E induces excess veins and bristles in the posterior wing blade. The extra veins concentrate around the posterior crossvein. Expression of armScer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in rough eyes and the loss of interommatidial bristles.

Expression of armScer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.PS in arm2/+ embryos derived from homozygous arm2 female germline clones leads to a slight loss of denticles. Overexpression of armScer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in ectopic wing vein formation and the formation of margin bristles in the wing blade.

The ectopic wing margin bristle phenotype caused by expression of armScer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4en.PU is enhanced by Traf43/+.

The eye phenotype caused by expression of armScer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF is suppressed by dshb117 and wgl-17 and enhanced by sggM11. The phenotype caused by expression of armScer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E is dominantly suppressed by wgl-17. Also, wing margin bristles are lost between veins 4 and 5 in these flies. The extra bristle phenotype caused by expression of armScer\UAS.cWa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E is enhanced by one copy of sggM11, while the vein abnormalities are suppressed in these flies.
