                      Other Comments

Apoptosis of SL2 cells that is induced by expression of Cele\ced-3 or rpr can be prevented by expression of BacA\p35.

The eye phenotype of P{GMR-hid} individuals can be completely suppressed by coexpression of BacA\p35.

Expression of BacA\p35 eliminates most if not all normally occurring cell death in the developing D.melanogaster embryo and eye as well as X-irradiation-induced cell death.
