The morphological and pigmentation defects in the adult eye seen upon expression of ZnT86DScer\UAS.cDa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.long are strongly exacerbated by co-expression of foiScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG, which also leads to partial lethality.

The morphological and pigmentation defects in the adult eye seen upon expression of ZnT86DScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.long are strongly ameliorated by co-expression of foiScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG.

The adult eye phenotype seen upon expression of Zip71BScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.long can be partially modified by co-expression of foiScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG : the morphological defects are strongly worsened whereas the pigmentation loss is unchanged.

Co-expression of foiScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG moderately exacerbates the rough eye phenotype of flies expressing Zip89BScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.long.

The mutant eye phenotype seen in flies co-expressing both ZnT63CVDRC.cUa and Zip42C.1Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PFa is enhanced if the flies are also co-expressing foiScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG.

The thorax defects caused by co-expression of ZnT63CVDRC.cUa and Zip42C.1Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 are enhanced if the flies are also co-expressing foiScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG.

Co-expression of foiScer\UAS.T:Zzzz\FLAG and Zip42C.1Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP under the control of either Scer\GAL4GMR.PFa or Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 does not result in a mutant phenotype.
