Detailed Description
Statement

Cam4c1 heterozygotes exhibit little effect on the average period of free-running.

Hemizygotes are essentially wild type with respect to bang sensitivity but show marked abnormality in the climb test. Mutation has a detectable maternal effect on egg hatch rate. Transheterozygous combinations with other Cam mutations produces an incompletely penetrant ectopic wing vein phenotype and either lateral or bilateral cuticular 'scabs' on the notum.

Xenogenetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

A heterozygous Cam4c1 background in flies expressing Mmmm\PVScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4P2.4.Pdf can result in lengthening of the free-running period, compared to controls, after 3-4 weeks in constant darkness.
