DCH5, Jab1, l(3)L4032, COP9 complex homolog subunit 5, l(3)89Cf
Component of COP9 signalsome - regulates ubiquitin-dependent protein degradation - Jab1/MPN domain metalloenzyme motif - COP9-Hedgehog axis regulates the function of the germline stem cell progeny differentiation niche

AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.

Component of the CSN complex, probably composed of CSN1b, alien/CSN2, CSN3, CSN4, CSN5, CSN6, CSN7 and CSN8. Interacts directly with CSN2. Also exists as monomeric form. Interacts via its MPN domain with Trc8.
The JAMM motif is essential for the protease activity of the CSN complex resulting in deneddylation of cullins. It constitutes the catalytic center of the complex (By similarity).

The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).

Please Note FlyBase no longer curates genomic clone accessions so this list may not be complete
Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
Homozygous mutant clones in the female germline disrupt both the dorsoventral and anterioposterior axes of the oocyte as a result of decreased grk protein.
CSN5 is required in R cells to induce lamina glial cell migration.
COP9 signalosome is essential for development.
