The expression of rlSem.cUa.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4C587 does not lead to significant changes in the numbers of germ line stem cells and cystoblasts in the germarium, as compared to controls.

Flies with expression of rlSem.cUa.UAS driven by Scer\GAL4GMR.PU have a rough eye phenotype, with a significant increase in the number of R cells per ommatidium.

Expression of rlSem.cUa.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4btl.PS results in a branching extension delay in 27% of embryonic dorsal branches and incomplete or impaired cell intercalation.

Expression of rlSem.cUa.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 results in ectopic wing veins.

The expression of rlSem.cUa.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 leads to the formation of extra wing vein material.

Expression of rlSem.cUa.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4bs-1348 induces differentiation of ectopic wing vein tissue.

Expression of tayEP-866 partially suppresses the ectopic wing vein phenotype seen when rlSem.cUa.UAS is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4salm.EPv.

Co-expression of DJ-1αUAS.cMa or dj-1βUAS.cMa or presence of dj-1βΔ93/+ does not alter eye phenotypes in flies with expression of rlSem.cUa.UAS driven by Scer\GAL4GMR.PU.

The formation of ectopic wing veins in flies expressing rlSem.cUa.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4salm-459.2 is weakly enhanced in a osa308/+ mutant background, but strongly enhanced by over-expression of osaUAS.cCa.

Coexpression of rlSem.cUa.UAS suppresses the tracheal branching defects of Scer\GAL4btl.PS>Mkp3GS801 embryos.

Coexpression of rlSem.cUa.UAS and E(spl)mβ-HLHUAS.cdCa, under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096, results in wing vein thickening that is indistinguishable from expression of rlSem.cUa.UAS alone. Likewise, coexpression of groUAS.cAa with rlSem.cUa.UAS, under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096, is unable to suppress the thick wing vein phenotype. Coexpression of rlSem.cUa.UAS and groAA.UAS, under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096, results in wings with little vein material, similar to the phenotype when only groAA.UAS is expressed.

Expression of rlSem.cUa.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4dpp.3KK suppresses the loss of wing vein phenotype of Scer\GAL4dpp.3KK>Mkp3EP-M76 flies.

Ectopic eyes in eyaUAS.cHa; Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1; rlSem.cUa.UAS are generally larger, and have more ommatidial definition than those in eyaUAS.cHa; Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 flies. The proportion of eyaUAS.cHa; Scer\GAL4dpp.PH flies with blistered wings (76%) is increased by heterozygosity for rlSem.cUa.UAS to 93%, while the proportion with only mild wing defects is decreased from 24% to 7%. (All data from experiments with a single, 'strong' P{UAS-eya.H} insertion; n=approximately 300 in each case).

The additional co-expression of rlSem.cUa.UAS does not modify the fully penetrant rough eye phenotype resulting from the co-expression of HPV18\E6UAS.Tag:MYC and Hsap\UBE3AUAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU.

Co-expression of rlsem.cUa.Scer\UAS with Zzzz\aopPScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF does not alter the eye morphology of Zzzz\aopPScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC-expressing eyes.

Co-expression of rlsem.cUa.Scer\UAS with Zzzz\VopAScer\UAS.cJa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF completely suppresses the rough eye phenotype resulting from the expression of Zzzz\VopAScer\UAS.cJa.

Expression of rlsem.cUa.Scer\UAS suppresses the rough eye phenotype seen when Zzzz\VopAScer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF.

Expression of Bant\lefUAS.cGa does not suppress the ectopic vein phenotype of rlSem.cUa.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096.
