Expression of groAA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 eliminates all veins in the wing. Expression of groAA.Scer\UAS, under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-C253, results in the loss of bristles on the notum.
Scer\GAL4sca-C253, groAA.UAS has mesothoracic tergum & macrochaeta phenotype, non-suppressible by Scer\GAL4sca-C253/btl::Egfrλ.UAS
Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096, groAA.UAS has wing vein phenotype, non-suppressible by rlSem.cUa.UAS/Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096
Coexpression of rlSem.cUa.UAS and groAA.UAS, under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096, results in wings with little vein material, similar to the phenotype when only groAA.UAS is expressed. Coexpression of btl::Egfrλ.UAS with groAA.UAS, under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-C253, is unable to suppress the loss of notal bristle phenotype seen when groAA.UAS alone is expressed.
