Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Heterozygous adults are hyperactive (showing increased overall activity) and show increased grooming behaviour compared to wild type.

Heterozygous adults show increased resistance to reserpine compared to wild type.

Homozygous embryos show a loss of branches in the tracheal system, including gaps in the dorsal trunk. This is due to a loss of tracheal cell migration.

67% of heterozygous embryos show a tracheal lack of migration phenotype.

Additional Comments

Statement
Reference

The wing notching phenotype seen in Df(1)N-54l9/+ and N264-107/+ flies is enhanced by heterozygosity for Catsup26.

The severity and penetrance of the Catsup26/+ tracheal lack of migration phenotype is enhanced by btlH82Δ3/+.

The opposing tracheal phenotypes of awdj2A4/+ and Catsup26/+ single heterozygous embryos (ectopic migration and lack of migration respectively) are both partially suppressed in awdj2A4/+ Catsup26/+ double heterozygous embryos.

The opposing tracheal phenotypes of PurAA17/+ and Catsup26/+ single heterozygous embryos (ectopic migration and lack of migration respectively) are both partially suppressed in PurAA17/+ Catsup26/+ double heterozygous embryos.

The ectopic tracheal migration phenotype of PuZ22/+ single heterozygous embryos is partially suppressed and the lack of tracheal migration phenotype of Catsup26/+ single heterozygous embryos is completely suppressed in PuZ22/+ Catsup26/+ double heterozygous embryos.
