Viable when transheterozygous with "Cos" neomorphic alleles, and viable and phenotypically wild type when transheterozygous with "Cos" revertants.
Pka-C1Cos-3R+E19, Pka-R2Cos-A1 has viable phenotype
Pka-C1Cos-3R+E19, Pka-R2Cos-A1R+1A has viable phenotype
Df(2R)CA58, Pka-C1Cos-3R+E19 has viable phenotype
Revertant. Associated with: Unmapped recessive lethal mutation. Selected as: Lack of wing phenotype.
FBrf0179171 demonstrates that a number of alleles previously assigned to the "Cos" locus actually map to two separate genes; Pka-C1 and Pka-R2. This allele, previously referred to in FlyBase as "Cos3R+E19", has been assigned to the Pka-C1 locus because it is a revertant of the Pka-C1Cos-3 allele, which was demonstrated in FBrf0179171 to be an allele of Pka-C1.
