Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Flies have abnormal eyes and a few ommatidia have ectopic outer photoreceptors or R7 cell. Later there is more dramatic overrecruitment of cone and pigment cells in pupal retinas.

Statement
Reference

spis.sev has visible phenotype, enhanceable by sty[+]/styS73

spis.sev has visible phenotype, enhanceable by sty[+]/styS88

Enhanced by
Statement
Reference

spis.sev has eye phenotype, enhanceable by sty[+]/styS73

spis.sev has eye phenotype, enhanceable by sty[+]/styS88

Suppressed by
Statement
Reference

spis.sev has phenotype, suppressible by Egfrf3

Additional Comments
Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

The eye phenotype of flies expressing spis.sev is weakly dominantly enhanced by styS73 or styS88.

Halving the dose of Egfr (Egfrf3) suppresses the spis.sev phenotype.
