AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.

The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).
Idgf1 transcripts are expressed at all stages tested on northern blots but most heavily in mid-larval stages. Idgf1 transcripts are present in the yolk cytoplasm in the early embryo but are excluded from the blastoderm as it cellularizes. During gastrulation, transcripts are observed in rows parallel to the major invaginations including the ventral furrow, the cephalic furrow, and the anterior and posterior midgut invaginations. In late embryos, Idgf1 transcripts are observed in yolk cells, fat body, salivary glands, and in the tracheal system. In third instar larvae, Idgf1 transcripts are strongly expressed in fat body, the ring gland, and in lymph glands. Expression is also observed in the optic lobes, the central brain, and in imaginal discs. Duing oogenesis, Idgf1 transcripts are present in nurse cells and in the oocyte. While the patterns of expression of the four Idgf genes are in general very similar, they are differentially expressed in the larval salivary glands. Levels of Idgf2 and Idgf4 are generally higher than Idgf1 and Idgf3.

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
