The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.
The l(2)34Db complementation group corresponds to one (or more) of the following annotated genes: CG9014, CG31813, CR45913, CR44846, TM9SF4, mir-1002, mir-968, CG43376, CG9008, CR31845, p38b, CG16890, CG31731, CR44847, CG16863, Sec71.
The complementation results for l(2)34Db are consistent with the tentative conclusion reported in FBrf0111326 that the l(2)34Db complementation group corresponds to Sec71.
"anon-34Da" probably corresponds to " BG:DS00797.7 " (based on its molecular map position), and " BG:DS00797.7 " may correspond to "l(2)34Db". "adat" probably does not correspond to "l(2)34Db", because "adat" is expected to be included in the P{Sos+.B} transgene (FBrf0057637) which fails to rescue "l(2)34Db" alleles.
"l(2)34Db" probably corresponds to either "CAH1", "adat" or " BG:DS00941.3 ".
