G375D | Caf1-55-PA; G374D | Caf1-55-PB
G375D
Site of nucleotide substitution in mutant inferred by FlyBase based on reported amino acid change.
Many homozygous larvae survive to the third instar, but die shortly after forming a disorganised pupa.
Homozygous clones survive well in the eye. Eyes composed mostly of homozygous clones are only slightly disorganised compared to wild type. Some interommatidial bristles are missing or occasionally occur at adjacent vertices.
Caf1[+]/Caf1-55long is a suppressor of visible phenotype of Scer\GAL4lz-gal4, sensUAS.cNa
Caf1[+]/Caf1-55long is a suppressor of visible | dominant phenotype of Pc15
Caf1[+]/Caf1-55long is a suppressor of eye phenotype of Scer\GAL4lz-gal4, sensUAS.cNa
Caf1[+]/Caf1-55long is a suppressor of sex comb | ectopic phenotype of Pc15
Caf1[+]/Caf1-55long is a suppressor of mesothoracic leg phenotype of Pc15
Caf1[+]/Caf1-55long is a suppressor of metathoracic leg phenotype of Pc15
The mutant eye phenotype caused by expression of sensScer\UAS.cNa under the control of Scer\GAL4lz-gal4 is dominantly suppressed by Caf1long.
Only 30% of Pc13/Caf1long double heterozygous males have ectopic sex combs on either the second or third leg.
Caf1-55short/Caf1-55long is rescued by Scer\GAL4Ubi.PU/Caf1-55UAS.cAa
