Expression of CblDv.Scer\UAS in the eye under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF generates rough eyes, with some ectopic R7-like photoreceptors, but does not generate tumours.

Expression of CblDv.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E causes hyperplasia of the humeral region in 5% of the progeny.

Expression of CblDv.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF causes some ectopic wing vein formation.

Flies heterozygous for both Cbl1 and Scer\GAL4GMR.PF;CblDv.Scer\UAS exhibit a significantly enhanced Scer\GAL4GMR.PF;CblDv.Scer\UAS phenotype, with pronounced disruption of the ommatidial array and an increase in the number of ommatidia with ectopic photoreceptors.

Expression of CblDv.Scer\UAS in the eye under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF in combination with Ras85DV12.sev at 25[o]C or sevS11.T:Hsap\MYC at 29[o]C produces melanotic tumours in the eyes in approximately 30 and 40% of progeny, respectively.

Expression of both CblDv.Scer\UAS and EgfrScer\UAS.cBa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF significantly enhances both the rough eye and extent of ectopic wing veins.

Co-expression of CblDv.Scer\UAS with EgfrDN.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF suppresses the phenotypes of both mutants. Retinal development is restored although the eye is smaller than wild-type and ommatidial orientation is irregular. At 29[o]C, veins L2, L3 and L5 are completely rescued, with partial rescue of L4.

A argosΔ7 background enhances the eye and wing vein phenotype of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF CblDv.Scer\UAS mutants.

Thirty-seven percent of shi1; Scer\GAL4GMR.PF CblDv.Scer\UAS wings exhibit an ectopic vein phenotype, moreso than in Scer\GAL4GMR.PF CblDv.Scer\UAS mutants.

shi2; Scer\GAL4GMR.PF CblDv.Scer\UAS wings exhibit an ectopic vein phenotype, moreso than in Scer\GAL4GMR.PF CblDv.Scer\UAS mutants.

shi4; Scer\GAL4GMR.PF CblDv.Scer\UAS wings exhibit an ectopic vein phenotype, moreso than in Scer\GAL4GMR.PF CblDv.Scer\UAS mutants.

Co-expression of CblDv.Scer\UAS with Dap160EP2468, both under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in an increase in ectopic wing veins compared to expression of CblDv.Scer\UAS alone.

Co-expression of CblDv.Scer\UAS with Dap160EP2543, both under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in an increase in ectopic wing veins compared to expression of CblDv.Scer\UAS alone.

The extent of ectopic wing vein formation found in Scer\GAL4GMR.PF CblDv.Scer\UAS flies is enhanced in a hyd15 mutant background but does not affect the eye roughening phenotype.

A lwr02858 mutant background does not affect the extent of ectopic wing veins or eye roughening seen in Scer\GAL4GMR.PF CblDv.Scer\UAS mutants.

A lwr05486 mutant background does not affect the extent of ectopic wing veins or eye roughening seen in Scer\GAL4GMR.PF CblDv.Scer\UAS mutants.
