Expression of escGD1240 results in: occasional ectopic vein material at/near both the anterior and posterior crossveins (with the Scer\GAL4nub.PK driver) and at the posterior crossvein (with Scer\GAL4en.PU). No overt adult phenotype is observed with either Scer\GAL4ey.PH or Scer\GAL4GMR.PF.
Adults expressing escGD1240 under the control of the cardioblast-specific Scer\GAL4tin.CΔ4 driver show significantly reduced survival on day 6 after a shift to 29[o]C compared to control flies.
