Detailed Description

Primary macrophages isolated from animals expressing SbfGD12081 under the control of Scer\GAL4Pxn.PS are able to spread flat as is seen in wild type, but unlike wild type they lack F-actin rich protrusions.

Adults expressing SbfGD12081 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Expression of SbfGD12081 suppresses the increase in F-actin rich protrusions seen in macrophages isolated from animals expressing mtmScer\UAS.T:Disc\RFP-mCherry under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA. The macrophages completely lack protrusions, similar to what is seen when SbfGD12081 is expressed alone.

Expression of Pi3K68DGD7348 suppresses the loss of F-actin rich protrusions seen in macrophages isolated from animals expressing SbfGD12081 under the control of Scer\GAL4Pxn.PS.

Expression of SbfGD12081 enhances the loss of F-actin rich protrusions seen in macrophages isolated from animals expressing Rab21GD9042 under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA.

Expression of SbfGD12081 suppresses the excess F-actin rich protrusions seen in macrophages isolated from animals expressing Rab21Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA.

Expression of Rac1V12.Scer\UAS suppresses the loss of F-actin rich protrusions seen in macrophages isolated from animals expressing SbfGD12081 under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA.

Expression of Rho1V14.Scer\UAS fails to suppress the loss of F-actin rich protrusions seen in macrophages isolated from animals expressing SbfGD12081 under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA.

Comments

Expression of SbfGD12081 rescues the excess F-actin rich protrusions seen in macrophages isolated from animals expressing SbfScer\UAS.T:Disc\RFP-mCherry under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA.
