Homozygotes are viable at 25^oC. aux^L7 wings contain extra vein material.

aux^L7/aux^K47 animals are viable at 25^oC but do not survive at 18^oC. The escapers have wild-type wings.

aux^L7 eyes are nearly wild-type.

aux^L7/aux^D128 escapers have rough eyes.

aux^L7/aux⁷²⁷ escapers have disorganised ommatidia. Many have too many photoreceptor cells, some have too few and some ommatidia are fused.

aux^L7/aux^C2 escapers have extra vein material in the wings and the wings are notched.
