Drives expression in the terminal filament of the germarium, in somatic cells of the ovary, and in the larval proventriculus; also drives expression in regions corresponding to sub-terminal structures in imaginal discs.

ScerGAL4^bab1-Agal4-5 drives expression at a high level in the larval proventriculus, and at low levels near the midgut/hindgut junction; no expression is detected in the body of the midgut.
