Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

While homozygous mutant Rab11ex2 R-cell clones still project processes that attach to the apical surface and correctly send axons basally, many R-cell nuclei appear abnormally at the basal side.

Rab11ex2/+ flies show no eye phenotype.

Oogenesis is arrested before oocyte determination in Rab11ex1 germ-line clones.

Rab11ex2/Rab11[+] is an enhancer of eye phenotype of RN-treUAS.cHa, Scer\GAL4GMR.long

Rab11ex2/Rab11[+] is an enhancer of eye phenotype of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF, bchsEP2299

Additional Comments
Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Reducing the dosage of Rab11 through a Rab11ex2 heterozygous background significantly enhances the RN-treScer\UAS.cHa-induced rough eye phenotype.

Rab11ex2 heterozygotes act as dominant enhancers of the Scer\GAL4GMR.PF>bchsEP2299 eye phenotype, resulting in adults with severely reduced eyes.
