Embryos do not show neural hyperplasia. The vMP2 neuron is present in homozygous embryos but does not project an axon anteriorly and instead projects an axon posteriorly along the pathway taken by the dMP2. The RP2sib neuron appears to have taken on the identity of its sister RP2 neuron in homozygous embryos. The anteriorly projecting axon of the pCC neuron is missing and both aCC and pCC neurons project their axons in the intersegmental nerve. The segmental nerve is missing.
mam3.177 has vMP2 neuron phenotype, non-suppressible by Nint.G.UAS/Scer\GAL4ftz.ng
The mam3.177 vMP2 neuron phenotype is not suppressed by Nint.G.Scer\UAS expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4ftz.ng.
