dap2X10/dap04454 transheterozygous and dap2X10/Df(2R)B5 hemizygous combination is almost fully lethal. Clones in the eye do not disrupt ommatidia formation, no additional cells are observed. 8% of the fully mutant ommatidia are missing a single photoreceptor cell.
