Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Homozygous clones produce "loss of bristle" and "multiple shaft" cuticular phenotypes. Homozygous clones in the pupal notum have an excess of sensory organ cells.

Additional Comments
Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Heterozygous Su(H)16 enhances the wing nicking phenotype seen in mamN.Scer\UAS, Scer\GAL4C96 flies.

Suppresses the eye phenotype of Nspl-1 but has little or no effect on the bristle phenotype.

Notched wing phenotype of Nnd-1 dominantly enhanced by Su(H)16. Heterozygotes for mam10 also heterozygous for Su(H)16 show wing nicks. Su(H)16 dominantly suppresses the lethality of NAx-E2/NAx-9 transheterozygotes.
