Df(2R)vg-D, AsxXF23, Pcl15/+ flies have almost normal wings. If the flies also carry jing22F3, the arrangement of wing bristles at the posterior wing margin becomes disorganised and there is an increase in the appearance of cuticle patches containing a high density of small trichomes, indicative of a partial wing-to-haltere transformation.

Df(2R)vg-D, AsxXF23, Pcl15/+ animals show an average of 2.5 extra sex combs hairs in either the second of third leg.

Pcl15 corto420 double heterozygous males derived from corto420/+ females often have ectopic sex combs on the second and third legs.

Moderate suppressor of eye pigment phenotype of wT81.

Hemizygous mxcM1 males show weak homeotic phenotypes. Some enhancement of homeotic transformations is seen in mxcM1/Y in trans with one mutant copy of Pcl15.

Silencing of Scer\GAL4-BXD genes is dependent on Pc group gene function, in mutant embryos silencing is lost.
