100% of wor1/wor3 embryos hatch. 32% of wor1/wor3 animals survive to adulthood. 21% of homozygous embryos hatch (this lethality may be attributed partly to additional mutations on the wor3 chromosome). 84% of wor3/wor4 embryos hatch. 17% of wor3/wor4 animals survive to adulthood. wor3/Df(2L)osp29 and wor3/Df(2L)do1 embryos do not hatch. wor1/wor3 larvae have longer brainstems than control larvae.
