AlphaFold produces a per-residue confidence score (pLDDT) between 0 and 100. Some regions with low pLDDT may be unstructured in isolation.

The testis specificity index was calculated from modENCODE tissue expression data by Vedelek et al., 2018 to indicate the degree of testis enrichment compared to other tissues. Scores range from -2.52 (underrepresented) to 5.2 (very high testis bias).

From stage 12, expression is stronger in the posterior regions of the midgut than the anterior part.
Muscles are strongly stained from stage 13 on. This is earlier than seen with in situ hybridization. High magnification shows that muscles are not stained evenly with the antibody. Stain accumulates at the ends and in the center of the muscles.
Comment: low expression throughout the adult brain

Please Note This section lists cDNAs and ESTs that fall within the genomic extent of the gene model, which may include cDNAs and ESTs of genes within introns, or of overlapping genes. Please see JBrowse for alignment of the cDNAs and ESTs to the gene model.
For each fully sequenced cDNA the DGRC maintains various forms of the cDNA (e.g tagged or untagged) in several different host vectors for subsequent cloning and expression in Drosophila and Drosophila cell lines.

Gdh has been isolated and characterised.
The distribution of Gdh enzyme in the larva and adult has been studied.
Gdh enzyme has been isolated from the larvae of two D.melanogaster strains and characterised biochemically.
Structural gene for NAD+-dependent glutamate dehydrogenase (GDH), which comprises six 57,000 dalton subunits. Enzyme activity inducible by addition of glutamate to medium. Nearly all larval activity can be isolated with the mitochondria.
