RISC-loading complexes (RLC) are trimeric complexes that assemble on miRNA or siRNA duplexes consisting of an Argonaute protein, a Dicer RNA helicase and an RNA binding protein. During RISC loading, the RNA duplex is transferred to Argonaute and the other RLC components dissociate. (Adapted from
