While loafΔ33/loafΔ20 mutants show no R7 axon targeting defects, the additional expression of loafUAS.Tag:HA under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR9D03 alone, Scer\GAL4dve-NP3428 and Scer\GAL4vg.PM combined or Scer\GAL4ap-md544 and Scer\GAL4NP1624 combined leads to mis-targeting of R7 axons from the medulla M6 layer to the M3 layer.
