Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

Cep97Δ adults exhibit a reduction in their climbing ability and abnormal wing posture.

In Cep97Δ pupal leg chordotonal organs, cilia are frequently missing and basal bodies appear abnormal.

Cep97Δ males exhibit a reduction in sperm motility and abnormal pupal spermatids in which axonemes are incomplete or missing.

In Cep97Δ animals the primary spermatocyte centrioles are longer while the wing disc centrioles are shorter with prominent extensions of individual microtubules emanating from one end.

In wing discs, AtatKG05974 suppresses the prominent extensions of individual microtubules emanating from one end of centrioles phenotype while it does not modify the centriole length phenotype of Cep97Δ.
