The maternal expression of lolalScer\UAS.P\T.T:Ivir\HA1, either under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 or in the absence of the Gal4 driver, partially rescues the lethality of the progeny from dpphr27/+ fathers and lolal1122/+ mothers, partially rescues the near lethality of the progeny from dpphr4/+ fathers and lolal1122/+ mothers and weakly rescues the near lethality of the progeny from Df(2R)Pcl11B/+ mothers and dpphr4/+ fathers; this maternal expression, either under the control of Scer\GAL4nos.UTR.T:Hsim\VP16 or in the absence of the Gal4 driver, also partially rescues the embryo ventralization of the progeny from dpphr4/+ fathers and lolal1122/+ mothers.
