Expressing SF2UAS.GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU results in a strong rough eye phenotype.
Expression of SF2Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in a decreased eclosion rate, and surviving adults exhibit reduced eye size and significant necrosis in the eye, as compared to controls. Third instar larvae expressing SF2Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF exhibit disorganization and increased apoptosis in the eye disc posterior to the morphogenetic furrow, with disorganization of photoreceptor cells, and a reduction in the number of detectable cone cells; optic lobes in these larvae do not exhibit increased apoptosis as compared to controls, and do not show any obvious defects in photoreceptor neuron axon localization or lamina monopolar neuron arborization in the medulla.
SF2UAS.GFP, Scer\GAL4GMR.PU has visible phenotype, enhanceable by Hsap\TARDBPUAS.cPa, Scer\GAL4GMR.PU
SF2UAS.GFP, Scer\GAL4GMR.PU has eye phenotype, enhanceable by Hsap\TARDBPUAS.cPa, Scer\GAL4GMR.PU
Co-expressing SF2UAS.GFP together with a weakly expressing Hsap\TARDBPUAS.cPa line under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PU results in an enhanced rough eye phenotype.
