      JhI-1ED24 mutant somatic clones induced in JhI-1T:SV5\V5 expressing background grow normally and have similar size as their twin spot clone in third instar larval eye discs. They do not display any defects in cell size, proliferation or mitotic cell cycle progression in both eye and wing discs.
