UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of a 500bp inverted repeat.
Expressing Tsf1NIG.6186R under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 leads to a significantly lower eclosion rate in flies regardless of iron content in their diet. When fed an iron-depleted diet, pupal lethality increases significantly compared to flies fed a regular diet and wild-type controls (regardless of diet).
Tsf1NIG.6186R/Scer\GAL4NP3084 is a suppressor | partially of partially lethal - majority die | nutrition conditional phenotype of Scer\GAL4NP3084, Zip99CGD370
Tsf1NIG.6186R, Scer\GAL4NP3084 is a non-suppressor of partially lethal - majority die phenotype of Fer2LCHGD6348, Scer\GAL4NP3084
Tsf1NIG.6186R, Scer\GAL4NP3084 is a non-suppressor of partially lethal - majority die | nutrition conditional phenotype of Fer2LCHGD6348, Scer\GAL4NP3084
Tsf1NIG.6186R, Scer\GAL4NP3084 is a non-suppressor of partially lethal - majority live | nutrition conditional phenotype of Fer2LCHGD6348, Scer\GAL4NP3084
Scer\GAL4NP3084, Tsf1NIG.6186R, Zip99CGD370 has partially lethal - majority live | nutrition conditional phenotype
Co-expressing Tsf1NIG.6186R with Zip99CGD370 under the control of Scer\GAL4NP3084 results in a partial rescue of lethality in flies fed an iron-depleted diet.
