Expressing Su(H)UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4sd.PU leads to enlarged wings in pharate adults raised at 18[o]C, and more severely at 25[o]C.

Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096-mediated expression of Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa causes a transformation of shaft into socket cell fate during bristle development, affecting the majority of micro- and macrochaetae.

Scer\GAL4bi-omb-Gal4-mediated expression of Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa stimulates wing discs to over-proliferate.

Expression of Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa in the central domain of the wing disc under the control of Scer\GAL4bi-omb-Gal4 results in hyperproliferation.

Expression of Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF results in overproliferation of eye tissue.

Expression of Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa in the central domain of the third instar larval wing disc under the control of Scer\GAL4bi-omb-Gal4 results in hyperproliferation.

Expression of Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096 causes a mild shaft-to-socket transformation phenotype that affects most of the microchaetae and macrochaetae.

Co-expressing Su(H)UAS.cMa with one of HFA.UAS, HLLAA.UAS, HWA.UAS or HUAS.cMb results in rudimentary wings and ectopic bristle tufts mainly on the scutellum when flies are raised at 18[o]C, and complete wing loss with more scutellar bristles at 25[o]C.

Adults co-expressing Su(H)UAS.cMa with one of HLLAA.UAS, HWA.UAS or HUAS.cMb are barely viable and need assistance at eclosion from the pupal case.

Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096-mediated co-expression of HScer\UAS.cMb and Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa strongly affects all N-dependent steps of bristle formation - asymmetric cell divisions as well as lateral inhibition. Bald patches, double bristles and bristle clusters are visible on the head and thorax. The eye is almost completely absent without any visible external structures. Flies die as pharate adults.

Scer\GAL4bi-omb-Gal4-mediated co-expression of HScer\UAS.cMb and Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa leads to a very small wing disc.

Expression of Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa enhances the wing disc tissue loss seen when HScer\UAS.attB.cMa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4bi-omb-Gal4.

Expression of HLD.Scer\UAS does not suppress the wing disc hyperproliferation phenotype seen when Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4bi-omb-Gal4.

Expression of Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa enhances the eye phenotype seen when HScer\UAS.attB.cMa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF. Only small slits lacking ommatidial structures and eye colour remain.

Expression of HLD.Scer\UAS does not suppress the eye hyperproliferation phenotype seen when Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF.

Co-expression of HScer\UAS.attB.cMa and Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa under the control of Scer\GAL4bi-omb-Gal4 results in severely disturbed growth and development of the third instar larval wing disc.

Expression of HLD.Scer\UAS does not enhance the wing disc proliferation defects seen when Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4bi-omb-Gal4.

Expression of HΔNT.Scer\UAS does not enhance the wing disc proliferation defects seen when Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4bi-omb-Gal4.

Expression of Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa strongly enhances the bristle loss phenotype seen when HScer\UAS.attB.cMa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096. Bushes of bristles appear as a result of reduced lateral inhibition.

Expression of HLD.Scer\UAS does not enhance the bristle phenotypes seen when Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096.

Expression of HΔNT.Scer\UAS does not enhance the bristle phenotypes seen when Su(H)Scer\UAS.cMa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096.
