The polarized (posterior) localization of fate determinants (osk mRNA) and markers of kinesin-dependent transport activity (Dynein and Glued) is abolished in oocytes from shot2A2-4 mutant germline clones and the microtubule organization (their anterior enrichment) is perturbed compared to wild-type.
