No apoptosis is observed in the dorsal compartment of the wing imaginal disc when ArkdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cLa is expressed under the control of Scer\GAL4ap-md544.

Animals expressing ArkdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cLa under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL have high levels of pupal lethality, and rare escapers display wing defects and supernumeral bristles.

Animals expressing ArkdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cLa under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF have an aberrant number of pupal retinal lattice cells (68 hours after puparium formation).

Expression of ArkdsRNA.Scer\UAS.cLa in the salivary glands under the control of Scer\GAL434B delays salivary gland histolysis during pupal development.
