Scer\GAL4e22c-mediated expression of pblΔN-term.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 results in 100% embryonic lethality and epidermal fragmentation.

Expression of pblΔN-term.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 in the eye under the control of the Scer\GAL4GMR.PU driver results in pupal lethality. At 18[o]C the lethality occurs at the pharate adult stage. Pupal flies exhibit a strong eye phenotype.

Expression of pblΔN-term.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 in the mesoderm of stage 8 embryos under the control of Scer\GAL4twi.2PE and Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR drivers blocks mesoderm invagination and the cells fail to undergo cytokinesis.
