Expressing nosHMS00785 under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR leads to a small but significant decrease in adult climbing ability, but does not have an obvious effect in the thorax muscles; muscle mitochondria also do not show obvious defects.
Expressing nosHMS00785 under the control of Scer\GAL4Cg.PA does not seem to lead to mitochondrial defects in the third instar larval fat body (as assessed by MitoGFP).
