Somatic clones expressing ash1JF01498 under the control of Scer\GAL4Tub.PU contain a similar overall number of cells and intestinal stem cells in adult flies as controls.

Expression of ash1HMS00582 under the control of Scer\GAL4en.PU results in ectopic vein material in the wing posterior. Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI-driven expression is viable, expression controlled by any of the following: Scer\GAL4ey.PH, Scer\GAL4GMR.PF or Scer\GAL4nub.PK has no overt adult phenotype.

Expression of ash1JF01498 in the fat body under the control of Scer\GAL4DcG results in significant hyperglycaemia.
