Description

Insertion of a PBac{PB} element immediately prior to the first predicted residue of the 7 amino acid Gα binding and activating (GBA) motif core. This introduces three in-frame stop codons, which is predicted to result in a truncated protein lacking the GBA motif and second EF-hand, as well as the variable repeat region.

NUCB1c01508 hetero- and homozygotes do not show lethality, infertility, or any other obvious fitness-related, morphological/developmental, or behavioral abnormalities (as evidenced from assays for fecundity, lifespan, body weight, molting profile, wing posture, wing vein patterning, temperature-sensitive paralysis, flight or climbing ability, and multiple other phenotypic traits).

NUCB1c01508 hetero- and homozygotes do not show significant changes in lifespan under a dead or live yeast diet, as compared to controls.
