Ext2326/Df(2R)Jp8 animals die as pupae with small eyes and legs. Third instar larvae have smaller discs than the wild type, and in particular, their wing discs are narrower in an anterior-posterior direction. Some tissue is deleted within somatic clones of Ext2326 homozygous cells in the adult wing.
