The "lawn of denticles" cuticle phenotype seen in pygoS28 embryos is rescued by expression of pygoScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32.
The lawn of denticles phenotype seen in homozygous pygoS123 embryos derived from homozygous female germ-line clones (lacking both maternal and zygotic pygo function) is rescued by expression of pygoScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32, such that the rescued embryos have a cuticle phenotype similar to paternally rescued pygoS123 embryos. The lawn of denticles phenotype seen in homozygous pygoS28 embryos derived from homozygous female germ-line clones (lacking both maternal and zygotic pygo function) is rescued by expression of pygoScer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32, such that the rescued embryos have essentially wild-type cuticles.
