Flies carrying one copy of Vangsev.PR show polarity defects in 15.4% of ommatidia.

In mutant eyes, about 10% of ommatidia display errors in polarity; anterior posterior polarity defects, dorsal ventral defects, and defects in R3 and R4 are seen.
