Description

Imprecise excision of the P{lacW} insertion from hrgk07618 deletes more than the N terminal third (243aas) of hrg, including the catalytic core. Most of the 5'-UTR of the longest mRNAs as well as the embryonic transcription start site has also been removed.

      Mutants are lethal from late embryonic to second instar larval stages. A slight defect in the head skeleton is seen - the dorsal bridge is distorted. hrgPAP12,hrgP1 animals have a notched wing phenotype.
