      Marker expression studies indicated that crystal cell differentiation is reduced in srpC.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4lz-gal4 embryos.

      srpC.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4lz-gal4 embryos have greatly reduced numbers of crystal cells at stage 13-16. Ectopic plasmatocytes are formed in srpC.Scer\UAS; Scer\GAL4twi.PG embryos.
